In order to attract screech owls, you need to provide a 3" entry hole and the proper size nesting cavity. The gable roof design has a side clean-out and proper drainage holes. You need to mount this Screech Owl Bird House 10-20 feet above the ground. It is made of cedar and measures 14" High x 9" Wide x 7" Deep. We've been told that if the owl screeches in the house, it seems to make it a little quieter outside but boy does the spouse get an earful.
