Moonstones are not only beautiful but also highly functional. They have a dual use - they can be used simply as a boulder or as a light. They put out a soft and gentle light and can be used in gardens, winter snow settings, Oriental gardens, around water gardens or pool areas, the list is endless. Moonstones weather well both in harsh sun or winter conditions. They are easy to install as there are no special tools needed. Each set has 3 moonstones and 3 sets of UL Listed electrical components. Existing low voltage (12 volts) landscape lighting systems can be modified by either adding on to existing strings of lights (if the transformer or power pack) has the capacity or exchanging old lights on an existing line. Make sure you know the existing wattage used or needed for existing systems prior to modifying. If you don't have an existing system or want to start fresh than you must first determine where you want to put the moonstones and measure the distance from the exterior outlet and the furthest moonstone. To connect the moonstones, purchase the desired footage of direct burial cable needed and a small electric transformer (for use in outdoor lighting) of at least 50 watts to power 1 Moonstone set. If you buy multiple sets, you will need a stronger transformer. Each moonstone is made of UL approved polypropylene with UV inhibitors and measures 6 3/4" High x 14 7/8" Long x 10" Wide.
