Kitty Kaviar is as GOOD as it sounds. It is an all natural fish treat made of dried Bonito filets. Cats of all ages love the paper thin Bonita (similar to Tuna and Mackeral). It has a strong fish-like aroma which they key in on immediately. It is composed of 75% protein, 4% ash, .95% magnesium and is also a good source of taurine - 39%. Taurine is important for tissue repair and body growth and Ash and Magnesium are important minerals used in the body for bone and tooth structure. The Magnesium and Ash also help prevent urinary tract diseases and help to decrease damage to the kidneys. Kitty Kaviar is not a replacement for food. It is a treat that will light up your cats face, although you will only see it for a short time, before that smiling face is buried in the bowl with the kitty kaviar. My cats prefer it over any other treat and sometimes even over organic catnip. I sprinkle it on top of their dry food or sometimes just put it in a bowl where they can get every last bit. It is lightweight and if you simply put it in on the floor, they will end up blowing it around in their haste to get it into their mouths. The can contains 1/2 oz and stands about 4 3/4" high. It is amazing how many dried flakes can fit in a 4 3/4" can with a 2 5/8" diameter. Some of the flakes resemble large wood shavings rather than just flakes. You may want to get 2 cans because your cat will be begging you for them at every turn.
