Bluebirds do not appear to be individualist as every time we come across them they are grouped up. In this case, the Sweeney's have decided it is time to make their own music by perching on the windchime and making it sway to the beat they want. This homemade looking windchime appears to be made from twigs off trees with the chimes hanging down from the small branches. What the Sweeney blue bird family noticed from the sky were the 2 large green caterpillars climbing down the string of one of the chimes. They saw, they landed and they tried to catch the busy caterpillars. The 3 elder bluebirds rested on the top branch while sending the 2 baby bluebirds down to catch their supper. Unfortunately, the baby bluebirds are still working on their sense of balance and can't seem to stay upright on the smaller branches much less catch the caterpillars. If you could see the mouths on those green caterpillars, they would be laughing hysterically. The 3 elder bluebirds on the large twig measures 3 1/4" High x 7 1/2" Wide x 3" Deep and is made of durable brightly colored poly resin. The smaller bluebird pointing down measure 3" High x 2 1/4" Wide x 1 1/2" Deep and is made of durable brightly colored poly resin. The other small bluebird hanging on my his chin and talons measure 2 1/2" High x 3" Wide x 1" Deep and is made of durable brightly colored poly resin. The chimes have a beautiful sound that will let you know when the wind blows. There is a ring at the top which can be hooked on the hanger of your choice. If you measure the height of the Bluebirds and Caterpillars on the Wind Chime from the top ring to the bottom of the chimes, it measures 20". These bluebirds will not give up until they have gotten the caterpillars and the caterpillars will not give up until they have gotten away.
