Ed is one different kind of guy. He loves to soak in the tub, but when they remodeled his house, they put in a new tub. Ed couldn't bear to part with his old one and put it out in the backyard as a birdbath. But Ed found that he missed his old tub and took to soaking in it outside. Unfortunately he has a neighbor, Velda, who likes to watch him soak in the tub (especially when he gets in and out) so he likes to put bath oil beads in the tub that make a lot of bubbles. Then once he gets in the bathtub, he slinks way down so that only his hands and the top of his face are visible. This antique styled white tub with gold feet is made of durable poly resin and measures 10 1/2" High x 23 1/2" Wide x 12 1/2" Deep. The actual depth of the bird bath or bird feeder is 1 1/2". A small little songbird measuring 2 1/2" High x 2 1/4" Long x 1" Wide mounts on the edge of the tub by a peg that you simply set into a small hole on the top edge. Ed thinks about letting his neck see the sun but as long as Velda is watching through her binoculars he just can't bring himself to lift his head further up out of the water. Maybe if he moves to a new neighborhood he can have a little more privacy. What are your neighbors like? Click here to see a close up of Ed's face in the birdbath.
