On the other hand, the squirrels cannot pick up the seed with their paws or mouths through the screen. The tray is made of a squirrel resistant nylon resin with excellent drainage. It measures 1 3/4" High x 14 3/4" Wide and 11 3/4" Deep and comes with the hanging wire. There is a built in 1" pole mount on the underside, however the pole must be purchased separately. This feeder is designed for black oil sunflower seed only and the feeder will hold 1 pound of seed. Fill the feeder and let the fun begin.
