Bobbex-R Animal Repellent is applied directly to the foliage to repel four legged herbivores such as rabbits, ground hogs, chipmunks, squirrels and voles. It is easily diluted by water but once applied and allowed to dry - it will last 1-2 months. It will not wash off in the rain but new growth will need to have additional Bobbex-R applied. In addition to herbivore deterrence, it will also help retain moisture during reduced water periods and winters blustery winds as well as reduce damage from a late Spring or early Fall frost. Bobbex-R is enviromentally compatible and harmless to all wild life including fish, pets, humans, birds, insects, etc. It is most effective protecting your plants against the following: Rabbits, Ground Hogs, Chipmunks, Squirrels and Voles.
Bobbex-R should be sprayed on all parts of the plant including leaves, stem and flowers. It is best sprayed between the temperatures of 35 degrees and 85 degrees Fahrenheit. Bobbex-R repels through both odor and taste by using fish, fish products, seaweed, eggs, garlic and other naturally occuring ingredients to deter rabbits, ground hogs, chipmunks, squirrels and voles from browsing. This product contains no petrochemicals.
Bobbex-R can be used to discourage underground bulb damage from chipmunks and voles and other herbivores. Before planting: simply remove all loose and dried plant tissue around the bulbs. Dip the bulbs in straight concentrated Bobbex-R for 3 - 5 minutes, then allow to completely air dry.
Do not use on leafy vegetable such as lettuce, kale, cabbage, etc or herbs such as basil, oregano, thyme, parsley, rosemary, etc... Bobbex-R contains stickers which allow the product to stick and last a long time on plant surfaces. It will stay in the leaf crevasses and be very difficult to wash off - not making for the best salad of seasoning to your meals. It can be used on tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, apples, pumpkins, etc... - applying liberally during the flowering stage but tapering off as the fruit matures (at least avoiding spraying the fruit). Bobbex-R can be used on rooted vegetables such as potatoes, beets, carrots, etc... as long as the plant leaf will not be eaten.
