Alfred is a gnome that believes everything is in the presentation. That is why when you put a plant into the accompanying pot, he feels the need to reach out one arm as in presenting a great actress and put the other arm around the pot as if around the great actress. If he could, he would walk his pot down the red carpet. Because he doesn't want to take away from the star, he wears a green outfit that he hopes will blend in or accent the foilage of the plant. His nose may seem a little long and pointy, well this is because he has a secret talent. He can sniff out truffles as well as any good boar but without having to dig around in the dirt. Alfred has made a lot of money with this talent which allows him to spend time on making plants into stars. Alfred and his pot are hand crafted in the USA (Texas) and are made of durable earthenware which can be used inside or outside. This 2 piece set measurements are as follows, Alfred stands 13 3/4" High x 11" Wide x 4 3/4" Deep and the Pot stands 4 3/4" High x 4 1/2" in diameter. The pot slides right into the hand with the palm facing down and there is an inset designed into his side and shoe to allow for the pot.
