This heated birdbath comes complete with a sturdy weatherproof metal stand. Our heated birdbath is thermostatically controlled and has been tested to work down to -20 degrees Farhenheit. The birdbath is 20" in diameter x 2" deep. It is plastic, 150 watts and runs on 120 volts (which is a standard outlet). The metal stand is included or you can use the hardware included to easily mount it to a wooden deck rail. Our Wisconsin friends have bought both this one for the birds and the heated birdbath without a stand to feed the squirrels and rabbits. Their temperatures have stayed in the 25 below range for days at a time and the only thing they have had to do is add water because both baths are in such heavy use.
