Bernie the turtle has been racing the rabbit again and right now he is a little ahead. He saw this shallow scoop standing up in a yard and decided to shimmy up it in order to see how close the rabbit is. They are racing on some very flat land so he doesn't have to go very high up to see the bunny. You can tell by the smile on his face that the rabbit is way, way back there. Is it Bernie's fault that he routed this race past a patch of experimental extra large skinless carrots grown in hydroponics (above ground). Perhaps it was too much for the rabbit to pass up, after all it is harvest season. If you look at Bernie's front side, you will see a little known fact, turtles have pockets on thier undersides for the important stuff like keys and change. He is a very well dressed turtle with a beautiful blue bow tie that matches his overalls - it's for the photo op. While on the scoop, Bernie measures 16" High x 4 3/4" Wide x 7" Deep and is made of beautifully colored durable poly resin. If you have some rabbits in your yard that need competition, then Bernie is your man.
